HTML Formatting Tags Part 1

In Microsoft word you would have noticed options like Bold,Italic and other text formatting options.These option can be used in your webpage with the help of special HTML tags as listed below:
  • <b></b>-Bold anything between those tags will appear bold.
  • <big></big>-Big anything between those tags will appear bigger than the default.
  • <em></em>-Emphasize anything between those tags will appear emphasized or highlighted.
  • <i></i>-Italic anything between those tags will appear in Italic.
  • <small></small>-Small  anything between those tags will appear smaller than the default.
  • <strong></strong>-Strong anything between those tags will appear strong .
  • <sub></sub>-Subscript anything between those tags will appear as subscript.
  • <sup></sup>-Superscript anything between those tags will appear as superscript.
  • <ins></ins>-Inserted anything between those tags will appear be underlined.
  • <del></del>-Deleted anything between those tags will appear with a strike through effect.



Now open notepad Play with the above codes:
  • save it as index.html and open it in your favourite browser.
